Brief Job Description
The Solutions Developer position within the Delivery Group focuses on analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to build, automate or improve existing systems. They also review Zoot product and client platform capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
  2. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
  3. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
  4. Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
  5. Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes.
  6. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
  7. Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.
  8. Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements.
  9. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
  10. Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.
  11. Update knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in computer technology.
  12. Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.

  11. Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

  13. Finger and Wrist Dexterity - The ability to make coordinated movements of the fingers and wrists of one or both hands to type and grasp objects.

  21. Compliance Certification - Knowledge of and ability to comply with federal regulatory compliance in the financial industry (Zoot certification required).

Educational Background or Professional Designation Required:

  • Two or Four year College Degree, Information Systems or related field OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
